Mar 15, 2012 · Yesterday, I went to turn it on and the EPC light came on and the Check Engine Light started to flash. It felt like a misfire as the engine wasn't running smooth. I didnt scan it yet, didnt have a chance to. Based on my research, it seems like this is a possibility that the turbos have gone bad.

Jul 28, 2013 · On the forums I feel there is a bias towards failure. So, how many high mile B8 or B8.5's are there out there that haven't had any real failures (e.g. thermostat, DSG, etc). I have a 2011 B8 with no issues (so far), but I'm only about to roll over 27,000 miles. 12-13-2015 11:26 AM #4.

Put a mechanical oil pressure gauge onto the switch port, and see what you actual oil pressure is at idle, and at 4000 rpm. Do this with a fully warmed-up engine, and compare your readings

Sep 5, 2020 · Raising the RPM to 2500-3000 you should see the pressure go up. If you are not achieving proper oil pressure suspect an internal engine problem. If you do achieve proper pressure change sender with an OEM Audi part, torque to spec and clean the plug connection with solvent and compressed air. Hmm yeah will do.
